Q: What do I need to bring on the hike?

A: A smile and positive attitude! We also encourage a no waste environment, so please bring a reusable water bottle to keep hydrated along the way.

Also, proper footwear is mandatory, sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses are always a good idea!

Q: How long is the hiking portion?

A: The hike lasts around 1-1.5 hours, depending on the pace of the group. The tasting tour follows with 2 wineries and approximately 2 hours of vineyard fun.

Q: How hard is the hike?

A: We would classify our hikes to be on the moderate side. You'll definitely work up a little sweat!

Q: Can I book the entire hike so it's just me and my friends?

A: Yes! Send us an email to book a private group.

Q: What if we arrive late?

A: Fashionably late does not apply in this case. Our guided hikes are scheduled for a reason and it is very important that you are waiting for your pickup time at the requested location. We are servicing groups and can't be tracking people down. We've got a schedule to keep!

We recommend arriving AT LEAST 15 MINUTES prior to your scheduled pick up time. You'll want to start this day at ease, not rushing to be on time.

IF YOU ARE LATE WE CAN NOT WAIT FOR YOU AND YOU WILL BE CHARGED THE FULL AMOUNT.

Q: What to wear?

A: You can wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. Our recommendation is something you would wear when doing a light workout. Proper footwear is mandatory, i.e. running shoes, hiking boots. CLOSED-TOED SHOES ARE A MUST. This is not a leisurely stroll.

Hats and sunglasses are always a good idea!

Q: Can we bring food?

It's likely you'll work up an appetite on your hike, so feel free to bring some snacks along if you wish, but please ensure there is no food or waste left behind on the trail.

You can also leave snacks up to us, by adding on a snack option when you confirm your booking at check out. We have some amazing options to choose from!

Once the hike portion of the tour is over we will shuttle over to the first winery where you can fuel up on snacks en route. Or there will be time at the wineries to grab a bite.

Q: Can we bring people under 19 years of age?

A: Yes, individuals under 19 are allowed on the hike portion of the tour. However, please note that our tour concludes at the winery tasting rooms, which is 19 and over.

Q: Do you offer hike options for those under 19 years of age?

A: Individuals under 19 are welcome to join, or if you are looking for something more tailored to a specific age group, please contact us and we would be happy to discuss your options!

Educational hikes are always a favourite for the young ones!

Q: Can we purchase wine?

A: Absolutely! We encourage you to support our local partners and bring home a taste of Niagara/The Bench.

Q: How many people are on the group guided hikes?

A: Our groups have a max of 10 people.
